RE: Welcome to LS2J. Great theory, sucks in practice (WAS: Memory leak on LS agent calling java via LS2J)

Hi Ben and Dallas,

maybe, I have found a solution (there was a hint to a releated problem with mq series).

I have now declared the called java function as void (returns nothing) and also give no parameters to the function. Using public variables and setting this properties via LS JavaProperties seems to fix the problem.

My agent runs now for 2 days with 5 minutes schedule an there ist no memory leak. Great! :-)

Is that a BUG in the implementation of the LS2J interface?

P.S.
If you want to see my agent working, take a look at my newly created application "madicon RSS Reader 0.9.6.1 beta for IBM Lotus Notes/Domino 6.xx", which is avialable for download at http://www.madicon.de/id/5UTV2T

Although I am from germany, the whole program is in english language.

Greetings

Manfred
